Alaba is a graduate of Computer Science, Ogun State University, Ago Iwoye. He holds a certificate in Electrical/Electronics. He is also a holder of an Advanced Diploma in Office Management from the University of Lagos and a PGD in Management from Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University, Bauchi.
He has over 30 years of working experience.

His career started with Tractor and Equipment (A division of UAC) where he gained experience in Inventory Control, Audit Trail and Data Documentation.
He later left for FBN (Merchant Bankers) Limited where he worked in the Admin and Human Resources Department, Foreign Operations Department, Finance Department and Treasury Operations.
He went further to join First Bank of Nigeria PLS to work on the following portfolio; Retail Marketing Officer (Apapa branch), Foreign Operations Officer (Apapa), Head Information and Technology (Apapa), Head Local Operation (Kofo Abayomi), Head/Manager IPMAN (Apapa) cash centre.
He is presently the Head of Department/Superintendent in charge of Ticketing, Monitoring and Enforcement with Primero Transport Services Limited.
He has attended courses locally and overseas in Customer Relations, Foreign Operations, Retail Banking, Computer and IT Security, Treasury Operations, Integrated Transport Systems, etc.
Agbede is happily married with children.
