My Story
Fola Tinubu holds a BA degree in Economics and Politics from the University of East Anglia in Norwich, England, and an MBA from the University of Stirling in Scotland. A visionary leader with a global perspective, he has successfully transitioned between high-level finance in the United States and large-scale infrastructure management in Nigeria.
Currently, he serves as the Managing Director of Primero Transport Services Limited (operators of the Lagos BRT from Ikorodu to CMS) and Maryland Wreckage Limited. His tenure at Primero has been defined by rapid organizational growth and the implementation of robust corporate structures within months of establishment. At Maryland Wreckage, he has positioned the firm as the preferred provider for wreckage cleaning services across the African region.
Prior to his current roles, Mr. Tinubu was the MD/CEO of Greater Washington Mortgage LLC in the United States, where he navigated the complexities of the mortgage industry. His extensive background in the American financial sector includes senior positions at prestigious institutions such as ITT Financial Services, Eastern Savings Bank, Dime Bank, and National City Bank. He is happily married with children.
