Cletus Omoafeh Okodolor, an Internationalist, Security Expert, an Author of a book (Arms Control and Disarmament) and many international relation publications. He had his first degree with Second Class Upper in Political Science and Public Administration and Second Degree in International Relations both from the University of Benin, Edo state. He holds an MPhil in Political Science University of Lagos with a PhD in view. He also holds Advanced Diploma in Security operations and Management, University of Lagos.
Chief Security Officer
He started his working career with the Nigerian Navy from 1986-2002 after which he retired as a middle rank officer. From 2003 to 2014, he was the Chief Security Officer of the Nigerian Institute of International Affairs, Lagos and from his academic interest, was a contract lecturer (part-time) at the Department of history and international studies, Lagos state university from 2004-2014. In January 2014, he joined Arksego Nigeria Limited a security consulting firm as their Operations Manager Lagos Region.
In 2016, his service was hired by a Turkish company Hayat Kimya (manufacturers of Molfix Diapers) Agbara to set up a security department for them. After his assignment, he opted to leave for Lagos and on June 2017, he was offered the position of Chief Security Officer in Primero (Lagos BRT) Transport Services Nigeria Limited as the company’s first security manager to set up a standard security department that can respond to threats and emergencies swiftly.
He has obtained certificate courses in Armed forces resettlement school (AFRC) (General Management), Administrative staff college of Nigeria (ASCON) Advance Management Course, Administrative staff college of Nigeria (ASCON) organizational security management; National institute for policy and strategic studies (NIPSS) effective conflict management in an organization, Leadership program and others.
He belongs to professional bodies such as Nigeria institute of management (NIM), chartered institute of personnel management of Nigeria (CIPMN), Institute of security of Nigeria (ISN) and international institute of professional security (IIPS), Nigerian Institute of International Affairs (NIIA). He is happily married with four children.
